Think of situations in which the surviving relative lives abroad, or is simply unable to attend in person. Fortunately, it is simply possible to arrange this. House clearance from abroad: how it works

1. First contact and discuss situation

You can simply contact us in whatever way is most convenient for you. You can call us, email us, whatsap us or fill out the form on our quote page. We will then discuss your situation and your needs.

2. Assessment of the property

Next, we assess the home. Preferably, we view the home from the inside to get a good picture. But we understand that this is not always possible remotely, in which case you can also send us photos or videos, or an inventory list.

3. Customized quote

Based on the information, we make a clear and transparent quotation. So you will quickly know what the cost of the house clearance will be.

4. Planning and the clearance

After agreement, we immediately schedule the eviction. You do not have to be present for this.

5. Delivery and feedback.

Upon completion, you will receive photos or videos of the final result. Any keys will be handed over as agreed.

What should you consider when doing a remote house clearance?

So arranging a home eviction remotely is quite doable, but there are a few additional points to consider:

  • Key transfer: we need access to the property. This can be done e.g. through family members, neighbors, the notary or your real estate agent.
  • Important items: clearly state in advance which items must be kept.
  • Documents and valuable items: we set these aside and coordinate with you.
  • Completion requirements: sometimes there are specific requirements from a housing association or landlord.

Do I have to be present at the evacuation myself?

You do not have to be present at the eviction yourself. We will carry out the work independently and inform you in between or when it is finished. Please make sure that it is clear in advance what we can and cannot take with us.

Can you also prepare the house for sale?

Certainly, we can also prepare the home for sale. For this, we can perform additional work such as a thorough cleaning or minor repairs.

How long does a house clearance take?

The duration of a house clearance can vary depending on the size of the home and the amount of belongings. On average, it takes one day, but larger homes with lots of belongings may take longer. We discuss this process in detail beforehand. We plan the house clearance together so there are no surprises.
