The origin of JHC House Clearance

Establishment of JHC House Clearance

In 2020, our company was founded by Joey Adams, a driven entrepreneur with a passion for trading. From a young age, Joey knew he wanted to trade, and he began trading all kinds of small items, such as furniture and dishes, in high school. JHC House Clearance was officially founded.

First steps

During his trading activities, Joey regularly visited people who needed to get rid of all their household contents. Many of them didn't know what to do with the items. Joey decided to investigate this further and look for solutions. Soon he invested in a box truck and trailer with which he could provide professional evictions.

Expansion of services

In addition to house clearance, the demand for removals also increased. Joey decided to also offer moving services to meet this demand. Moreover, JHC also began to provide additional services such as carpet removal, assembly/disassembly and thorough cleaning.

Februari 2022 - Opening van Joopies Handelshuis

In februari 2022 een droom werkelijkheid met de opening van Joopies Handelshuis. Hier krijgen de bruikbare spullen uit onze woningontruimingen een tweede leven. Door waardevolle en herbruikbare goederen een nieuwe bestemming te geven, wordt er minder verspild en hoeft er minder afval te worden afgevoerd. Dit is niet alleen beter voor het milieu, maar helpt ook om de kosten van een woningontruiming voor onze klanten zo laag mogelijk te houden.

2023 - Containerformaat kiepaanhanger

In 2023 hebben we geïnvesteerd in een grote kiepaanhanger. Daarmee kunnen we afval direct op locatie scheiden en in één keer afvoeren. Dat scheelt ons veel laad- en lostijd en voorkomt dat we alles handmatig hoeven uit te laden. Hierdoor kunnen we sneller doorwerken en houden we de kosten voor onze klanten zo laag mogelijk.

Juli 2025 - Uitbreiding wagenpark

In juli 2025 hebben wij geïnvesteerd in een nieuwe bakwagen met een laadcapaciteit van maar liefst 26 m³. Hierdoor kunnen wij meer inboedel en afval in dezelfde rit vervoeren, wat onze werkzaamheden een stuk makkelijker en sneller maakt. Daarnaast hebben wij in dezelfde maand een tweede kiepaanhanger aangeschaft. Hierdoor kunnen wij verschillende afvalstromen nog beter scheiden en zijn we in staat om zelfs meerdere ontruimingen op dezelfde dag uit te voeren.

April 2026 - Grotere bedrijfshal

In april 2026 zijn we verhuisd naar een bedrijfshal van 1.200 m², direct naast onze bestaande winkel. Voor ons was dat een belangrijke stap, omdat we hierdoor veel meer spullen kunnen opslaan, sorteren en opnieuw verkopen. Bij een woningontruiming komen vaak nog genoeg meubels en andere spullen vrij die prima een tweede ronde mee kunnen. We bekijken daarom zorgvuldig wat nog bruikbaar is. Goede spullen maken we schoon, controleren we en bieden we vervolgens voor een nette prijs aan in onze winkel.

How does the house clearance process work?

JHC House Clearance unburdens; we understand that a move or clearance is an emotional event. A lot has to be arranged in a short period of time. We bring the house back to its original state. Of course according to the rules of the housing corporation or the real estate agent, based on your wishes.

Initial contact and on-site inspection

After initial contact, an appointment will be made for an inspection of the home to assess the extent of the clearance and specific requirements.

Quote

Based on the inspection, a comprehensive quote is prepared, including the cost and timeline for the eviction. After this, you will have no more surprises.

Preparation

Before evacuation, you may be asked to separate or mark personal items and valuables that should not be removed.

Clearance

During eviction, furniture, household items and other trash are removed (or taken to another location). Usable items are set aside for donation or sale.

Cleaning

After emptying, the home is thoroughly cleaned to leave it in good condition for the next occupants or sale.

Final inspection and delivery

A final inspection is conducted to ensure that the home meets all the requirements set forth. Upon approval, the eviction is complete.
