What exactly is a house clearance?
A house clearance is the complete emptying of a house that is no longer occupied. The house is then completely cleared of belongings and additional work may be carried out such as the removal of floors and minor repairs. The house is then given to the owner or landlord so that it is ready to be sold or rented again.
Often a house clearance is needed after the death of a loved one, in the event of a move, or a soiled home. Our goal is always to relieve you of your worries and to return the house neatly as agreed.
How does a house clearance work?
We always start with an inventory. I come to see the house and then together we make a planning for the clearance. You then receive a quote from us with a fixed price.
On the day of the eviction, furniture, household items and other trash are carefully removed (or taken to another location). Usable items are set aside for donation or sale.
Once all belongings are out of the home and any additional services have been performed, we will deliver the home to you and walk through the home together to check that everything is to your satisfaction.

What does a house clearance cost?
With a house clearance, the price depends on several factors. This is because every house clearance or moving is different. The price of a house clearance or moving depends on the sectors listed below:

In what time frame can an eviction take place?
A house clearance usually takes place several weeks after the request. When you contact us, you can let us know immediately what schedule you had in mind.
We understand that sometimes a property needs to be delivered at very short notice. For that, we also offer an emergency service.
Do you also offer emergency service?
Sure! For house clearances that need to take place at short notice, we offer an emergency service. This frequently occurs with homes such as care rooms, as they often need to be handed back to a new tenant quickly.
With our emergency service, we can come by at very short notice. This does depend on our availability, so it is important that you contact us as soon as possible (preferably by phone) for an emergency eviction.

Do you also come to clear at night or on weekends?
This is possible. Please note that a 30% weekend surcharge will then be added to the offer amount.
What happens to the items left behind or usable?
We cooperate with the Salvation Army and have a store where usable items from a house clearance get a second life. Our vision for this project is that people (if proven) with a smaller wallet can also buy nice furniture for their furnishings.
How long does a house clearance take?
The duration of a house clearance can vary depending on the size of the home and the amount of belongings. On average, it takes one day, but larger homes with lots of belongings may take longer. We discuss this process in detail beforehand. We plan the house clearance together so there are no surprises.
Can I be present during the evacuation?
Clients are welcome to attend, but this is not necessary. The team can work independently according to the agreed guidelines. Before evacuation, we make clear arrangements so you know where you stand.
How is hazardous waste handled?
We will safely remove and dispose of hazardous waste according to legal guidelines. Should we come across these during the evacuation we will of course inform you.
What should I do in preparation for evacuation?
It is convenient to secure personal belongings and important documents in advance. Thus, we recommend that you go through the rooms globally to avoid any surprises yourself.
What happens to my valuables?
If a house clearance involves valuables seen during the free no-obligation quote appointment, this will be deducted from the quote.
Is a quote free and without obligation?

What if something gets damaged during evacuation?
We always handle your belongings with extreme care and respect. Nevertheless, in exceptional cases it can happen that something gets slightly damaged. We are insured for this and always provide a neat and appropriate solution.
Can I also vacate my home myself?
In principle, this is possible, but keep in mind that it is often a time-consuming and arduous task to perform yourself. There is a lot involved in clearing a home and a lot of time needs to be set aside.
We have the experience, manpower and resources to clear the property quickly and carefully. You don’t have to worry about lifting heavy items, disposing of trash or cleaning. We can take care of everything for you and completely unburden you.
Can I have my house vacated in exchange for the contents?
Unfortunately, this is rarely possible. This is because the value of the contents must be high enough to cover the cost of the eviction. This means that valuable items must be present. But these are often precisely the items that people want to take with them to the new home, or prefer to sell themselves. So clearing a house in exchange for contents is technically possible, but is often difficult to achieve.
Do you also buy up valuables from contents?
It may happen that part of the cost can be covered by selling valuable items. Please let us know which items you would like to sell to us and we will see what is possible.
Do you clean the house after the eviction?
After a house clearance, the property is delivered broom clean. This means that the property is free of garbage, personal belongings and is in an acceptable state of cleanliness.
Do you want a thorough cleaning? Then let us know during your request.
Do you also perform repair work?
We can also perform demolition or repair work. We offer a variety of services to make your house clearance as easy as possible. These include:

Can you deliver the property to the landlord or housing association?
Landlords often have specific guidelines that must be met before handover. We fully comply with these and ensure that you can hand over your property to the landlord without any problems. That way, all you have to do is do the final inspection and key transfer yourself.
My home is very dirty or full of stuff. Will you come?
